For Your Shoot
- Answer your Questionnaire
- Send your deposit
- Figure out your make-up & hair
- Bring a few pairs of undies with you (at least one pair of cute black)
- Bring 2-3 outfits for your set
- Optional – Email us a photo of yourself so we can customize your shoot a bit more
Hair & Makeup
Please arrive to the shoot with your hair and make-up done (unless you have arranged to have your makeup done by one of our artists!). We highly recommend that you make an appointment to get your make-up professionally done at a Sephora or Mac makeup store and we also recommend purchasing their eyelashes (they look awesome in the photos).
For your hair, don’t feel the need to do anything too extravagant; sometimes hair looks best when it’s just straightened or curled in hot rollers. A good way to get good volume in your hair is to arrive with your hair still in the rollers!
How can I prepare?
Slather on lotion before your shoot, you will want moisturized skin for the photos.
Practice your model face in the mirror. No worries if you feel silly, how could you not?!? lol
What do I wear to the shoot?
Please wear something non-restrictive and loose to your session. We also recommend not wearing tight undergarments because the elastic causes redness on the skin.
When you arrive
Upon arrival at your session you will be greeted by Maranda. We will sit and discuss your shoot, show you albums and products, and offer you a beverage or treat. When ready we will get started (and let the fun begin! holla!) =)
