In this day and age, our society and our generation is bombarded with sexy images of beautiful women. The images of women in provocative poses that are plastered all over billboards, magazine covers, tv commercials, and advertisements are screaming out. While men are forced to deal with pictures of seductresses using their bodies to lure husbands’ thoughts away from their wives, women (even Christian women!) are drawn to the same beautiful images for very different reasons. When we see these women looking so beautiful, with their photoshopped bodies and perfect features, it can often bring up feelings jealousy. Not jealous of the women themselves, but jealous that we don’t have the opportunity to be seen in a similar light like the woman on the magazine cover.

Day to day life for a couple can mean responsibilities, bills, crying babies, 9-5 hours, and little moments stolen here and there. So how wonderfully special and rewarding one of these sessions can be for a woman! How confident and glamorous she feels; while her husband has the opportunity to see her in a new light…. exuding all of her beauty for his eyes alone. How exciting! What a delight for a woman to be able to give such a beautiful gift to her husband! While her confidence is boosted, her natural God-given beauty is re-enforced, and the romance in a couple is re-ignited!

Although brides and wives make up the large majority of our Boudoir Clients, the trend of Boudoir Photography has extended to a much larger clientele base. Women decide to have a Boudoir session for many different reasons. Perhaps a celebration of a recent weight-loss victory, the beginning of a new chapter in her personal life, a maternity session to pay tribute to the marvels of her ever-changing body. Boudoir photography can be whatever you make it to be!

Every single woman is capable of looking just as glamorous and sexy as any Victoria’s Secret model! Whether slim or curvaceous, every body shape and style is unique and has it’s own rights to celebrate!
I want to encourage you to bring your personality to your Boudoir session! Your comfort is the most important thing during your session. Evoke Images’ Boudoir photographer(s) and makeup artists are all females, no boys allowed here!! We will have some girly pop/jazzy tunes playing in the background, and I love to talk! No awkward silences here! This is totally a fun, girlie thing to do… you will be laughing and feeling at ease in no time. If it would make you more comfortable, you are more than welcome to bring along a buddy…. although we suggest leaving your mother/mother-in-law at home =/ awwwwkward! LOL
